We have a welcome and friendly environment.

Protea Pilates is the perfect place for clients to achieve their fitness goals, whether to gain more core strength, reduce back pain, improve athletic performance, and retrain post-injury, or simply stay pain-free. With a range of Pilates equipment we can offer private and duet classes as well as group mat classes.

About us

Movement has always been a part of my life, from climbing trees to dancing to Pilates.

I discovered Pilates in 2014 and immediately knew that I wanted to become a Pilates instructor. I fell in love with exploring different ways of moving my body and finding what the body is capable of. I did my Pilates comprehensive training through BASI and in that same year I did an osteopathic massage course and Bootybarre in 2017. I am currently doing my level 1 MELT method training and excited to start teaching that at the studio.

When not in the Pilates studio I can either be found in nature or at the easel. Art is another passion of mine and I dream of one day opening my own art studio as well.

Our classes

These classes are tailor made and focus on each clients individual needs and goals.

Focusing on providing our clients with strong, goal oriented classes that uphold the integrity of the Pilates Principles. It is great for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Provide a full body workout utilizing your own body weight, focussing on control, positioning and strength.

These classes sometimes involve additional small apparatus such as the foam roller, thera-bands, balls, weights and Oov to challenge or provide assistance.
